Therapy Assistants
Our Therapy Assistants play an important role in supporting participants and families to get the most out of their therapy plans. Under the guidance and supervision of qualified therapists, they help implement strategies, practice skills, and provide ongoing encouragement between formal therapy sessions.
What Therapy Assistants Do
Improves functional communication, self-regulation, and independence, directly supporting his NDIS goals.
Provides a value-for-money intervention by increasing therapy intensity at a reduced cost compared to professional-only sessions.
Ensures sustainability of outcomes through skill generalisation to home and community settings.
Prevents future higher-cost supports, by reducing the likelihood of escalating behaviours, school exclusion, or additional health/mental health interventions. Work alongside participants and families to put therapy plans into action.
Support daily practice of strategies and techniques that help achieve therapy goals.
